Sponsors and Supporters

The work of the Haemophilia Foundation Australian Capital Territory (HFACT) is funded by grants from ACT Health and private donations.

HFACT provides the services of a counsellor through funding from ACT Health under the Public Health Outcomes Funding Agreement. HFACT acknowledges and thanks ACT Health for their support, without which it would not be possible to provide our services to the local community.

While ACT Health funds the work of our counsellor, HFACT also relies on the support of donations from private individuals and groups within the community, allowing us to provide other services and support for people living with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

HFACT receives grants from time to time for specific projects, such as family camps or send members to conferences, from Haemophilia Foundation Australia (HFA) and other sources.  HFACT is grateful for the financial support that it received from HFA and ACT Health that enabled us to hold the HFACT Coastal Camp in April 2016.

The Coastal Camp was also sponsored by Bravien Financial, who supplied the camp t-shirts for the kids to personalise.

HFACT also acknowledges the support of Bunnings Warehouse, Tuggeranong and Fyshwick, who have given HFACT the opportunity and support to run regular fund-raising sausage sizzles at their stores.

HFACT was partnered with the Canberra Southern Cross Club (CSCC) Community Rewards Program in 2017.  Unfortunately, we have been notified by the management of CSCC that HFACT will not be supported through this program in the future.  While HFACT was partnered with the program the CSCC donated over $600 to HFACT and we thank CSCC for their support.  CSCC members who had previously nominated HFACT as their recipient community group should check and, if they wish, update their preference on the CSCC website.

Donations to HFACT of $2 or more are tax deductible. Donations can be made via our donations page.
